Battle of the Day #185

This is a ranked Champion match. The game had the following rule sets: Fog of War, Weak Magic, and Melee Mayhem. It was a 19 mana game with only Fire, Death, and Dragon available. I went with Akane and just three units: Cavewise Wayfinder, Halfling Refugee, and Venka the Vile. They opted for Fithe Bladestone with Blazebeard Merc in the front, followed by Halfling Refugee. They placed three magic units next: Ashen Cindergrim, Inept Healer, and Continuum Seer. I gave Ambush to my two back units, so all my units had that ability.

In the Ambush round, my three units were able to defeat the Merc. In round 1, they took out their Refugee and destroyed Ashen's armor. They only managed to take out Cavewise's armor. Void was very effective against their remaining units. In the second round, Cavewise finished the Ashen. Venka eliminated the Healer, but the Trample attack missed the Seer. I had a few more misses but Venka finished the game in the following round.
